Tsambika is the most well-known Sandy beach on the East coast of Rhodes. Situated only 26 km (16.15 mi) from Rhodes town, its fine golden sand stretches 800 m (0.5 mi)!
The surrounding area belongs to the Greek Orthodox Church, therefore it keeps its natural look with the original environment. At the top of the nearby rock, the famous monastery of Panaghia Tsambika is situated.
The beach is popular for families with small children and youngsters as it has a sandy and very shallow coastline. There are umbrellas, sun lounges, some of the best watersports activities, and a few canteens & beach bars for snacks, refreshments, and ice-cream, of course!
What is there more to add?! It is simply the place to be experienced and enjoyed!
