Tsambika is the most well-known sandy beach in Rhodes. It is situated on the East Coast, 26 km from Rhodes town. Its fine golden sand stretches 800 m!
The surrounding area belongs to the Greek Orthodox Church, therefore it keeps its natural look with the original environment. At the top of the nearby rock, there is the famous monastery of Panaghia Tsambika.
The beach is popular for families with small children and youngsters as it has a sandy and shallow coastline. There are umbrellas, sun lounges, some of the best watersports activities, and a few canteens & beach bars for snacks, refreshments, and ice-cream, of course!
