Take part in a guided day tour to three of the most popular tourist attractions on the island of Rhodes: Butterfly Valley, the archaeological site of Filerimos, and Kallithea. You are also invited to sample local wines in a local authentic vineyard. Explore the nature, visit historic sites, learn about local traditions and produce. Some say that the best stories are told over a nice glass of wine! Transportation to and from predetermined locations near your accommodation and wine tastings are included.

Begin your day with pickup from your predetermined location near your select hotel, at around 9:30am. Then start the tour with a nice historic overview while driving along the east coast. Your guide is very informative with a vast knowledge of the history of Rhodes. Your first stop is Kallithea. It is a true jewel of Rhodes island, filled with romantic sculptures, fountains, flower-filled yards pawed with black and white pebbles. This picturesque place has been made world famous by films such as "Guns of Navarone."

After, drive to the west coast to reach your second destination, Butterfly Valley. The renewed valley is one of the most unusual biotopes in Europe. This luxuriant ravine with abundant running water attracts thousands of visitors every summer. After, take the road through untouched landscapes to visit a local winery. The vineyard is owned and run by passionate people who work hard to preserve their traditions. Sample their wines, learn about wine-making traditions in Rhodes, have a relaxing snack or a glass of wine overlooking the seemingly never ending neat rows of vines.

After, hit the road again through typical Rhodian countryside, full of olive, cypress, pomegranate and citrus fruit trees, to the mountain that hosts the famous Filerimos. You will be welcomed by many peacocks naturally residing in the area. Filerimos is built on the site of the ancient Doric city of Ialyssos, considered the oldest of the three ancient city-states in Rhodes. Take your time to wander along the old stoned path towards the imposing cross, enjoy the scenic view of the West coast, capture a photo of peacocks or visit the medieval monastery.

When your tour is complete, you will brought back to your original pickup points around 4pm.
